Strange times we're living in...

but one thing is clear,

people are realizing that their health and wellbeing needs to be THE PRIORITY right now.

Beloved Yoga Teacher,

Your value is in your gifts, and it's time for you to share yours.

There is absolutely nothing more magical than confidently teaching a student something that you KNOW is actually helping them get out of pain.

I feel it deeply every time I teach.

The most beautiful gift I've received in my over 20 years of practicing yoga, teaching thousands of students, and training hundreds of teachers is the ability to understand each students' unique needs and meet them, even in a group setting.

The key to that understanding wasn't actually the thousands of hours of trainings I've taken, the decades of teaching yoga, nor the number of students I've worked with... it was radical self acceptance, and cultivating the humility, courage, and willingness to apply what I knew about the potential for healing and freedom from pain to my own life, yoga practice, and teaching.

This practice holds an opportunity to offer yourself the same respect, consideration, and compassion that you give students.

Taking action for the benefit of your own healing and feeling the truth of what works ignites the desire and ability to share with others.

I created The HIBS Diamond Advanced Training as an exploration of the potential for yoga to be transformational and healing for both the student and the teacher.

Your students are waiting for you to facilitate an empowering experience that will allow them to put their health and wellbeing back in their own hands.

Just imagine the level of service you can offer with an embodied understanding of the potential for this practice to be a launching pad for sustainable solutions to chronic pain, trauma, and injury.

Aside from the high level techniques, practices, and teaching methodology you'll learn in this program, fortunately, everything else you need in order to turn the yoga practice into good medicine, is already inside you.

It is my deep honor to show you how to access your inner wisdom and give you the tools you need to teach others to do the same.

Love, Hibs

Shawana's Story

Shawana signed up for The HIBS Diamond Advanced Training a few months after her 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Certification. Due to the pandemic, her 200-Hour program was conducted entirely online, so Shawana was looking forward to learning more about hands-on assists and supporting her students in person as they navigate the uncertainties of a global pandemic.

Shortly after enrolling, Shawana had an unexpected invasive abdominal surgery. She was worried about continuing the training while she was in recovery, and had some doubts about her ability to participate fully.

Instead of quitting the program, Shawana decided to go all in. She knew the potential for yoga to be good medicine for her students, so she took the opportunity to explore this potential for herself.

During the training, Shawana soaked up as much as she could for her own recovery, applied what she was learning in real-time, and used the powerful tools from the Diamond program to regain her strength and reconnect to her core after surgery.

Shortly afterward, Shawana began teaching in person and became a Personal Trainer at HIBS YOGA, working one-on-one with our students and implementing the hands-on techniques she learned in the Diamond training to optimize the practice for each students' individual needs.

As a result of her courage and commitment to herself, Shawana is having a huge impact on the students in our community and playing an instrumental role in their healing and progress through yoga.

Here's How the Program Works

When you enroll in The HIBS Diamond Advanced Training, you’ll get a welcome email from Heba that will give you access to a private Facebook group just for our current trainees.

Join the group to watch the Welcome Video, access the training materials, supplemental content, and additional resources. We'll also be using the group as our main method of communication outside of our in person training sessions.

When we start officially on January 21, we will be meeting in person at the brick & mortar studio HIBS YOGA (2525 W. Horizon Ridge Pkwy, #100, Henderson, NV 89052) on Saturdays from 12pm - 5:30pm through March 4. There will be one weekend off halfway through the training (Saturday, February 11).

You will also be receiving a course manual with supremely valuable information and resources to support you and your students on a healing journey through yoga. All yoga practice sessions will be recorded, and you will have lifetime access to the practice recordings. The practices and teachings are ones you'll want to come back to time and time again.

Membership to the studio with access to our On Demand pre-recorded class library, is also included in this training, so that you can have a forum to explore and integrate the concepts you are learning in your felt experience on the mat, reinforce the therapeutic teaching principles, and get in a rhythm with this new approach to your yoga practice and teaching.

Here's What You'll Learn

  • Consent for Hands-On (protocols for empowering the student to make their own choices, voice concerns, understand and verbalize their moment-to-moment preferences around touch)
  • Skillful Adjustments (assists that honor the wisdom of the body, encourage communication, and convey great care, confidence and connection)
  • Intelligent Sequencing for Pain & Injury (yoga poses, cues, and movements to help students practice pain-free, and in a way that is conducive and not aggravating to their injuries)
  • Effective 1:1 Teaching (skill sets for conducting transformational private sessions and personalizing the practice for highly effective one-on-one teaching, even in group class setting)
  • Support for Yourself (tools to progress with your own injuries and troubleshoot areas where you feel stuck, plateaued, or in pain with your practice)
  • The HIBS YOGA Structural Embodiment Method (myofascial anatomy and movement principles, yoga poses and moves that facilitate myofasical release and foster structural integrity)

Let's Talk About Your Investment

The injuries and physical pain exacerbated or caused by faulty yoga practice due to repetitive stress, outdated alignments, haphazard sequencing. and unnecessary force can be traumatic and costly for both practitioners and teachers.

The damage also affects our entire industry, giving yoga a negative reputation, as injured students seek the help of medical professionals who are constantly treating herniated discs, torn rotator cuffs, ACL & meniscus tears, hamstring injuries, and bone on bone hips caused by faulty yoga practice.

These types of injuries are often 100% preventable, and in some cases, even reversible through movement education. We have a very important responsibility as yoga teachers to continue learning how to move more effectively and teach yoga with more integrity for the sake of our students's safety and the sustainability of this practice.

The teachers we talk to who are interested in our training programs often lack confidence with injuries or anatomy. They feel like they are missing out on an opportunity to support the students who need their help the most by referring those students who need extra care to other teachers. Many of them lose their motivation for teaching, which is really a tragedy considering how much people need yoga right now.

Quite frankly, if you're committed to the yoga practice for your personal development, or sharing it with others, it is imperative that you invest in your continuing education and stay abreast on the advancements in our field to maintain the integrity of this practice. As you do that, you also create a beautiful opportunity to share your gifts with even more impact, and supremely enrich the lives of your students.

The high level of information and the quality of both the content and delivery of The HIBS Diamond Advanced Training, as well as the potential return on investment is priceless. We're offering it to you for $2,500 if you pay in full, or for a deposit of $500 and 3 payments of $733 if you choose the payment plan. Custom payment plans are also available, email hibs@hibsyoga.com to set one up.

This Training is for You if:

  • You know there is more you can do to help students who are in pain or injured, yet you lack the confidence or skill set to support them
  • You feel a responsibility to help keep your students safe from causing or exacerbating injury with faulty practice
  • You feel plateaued or bored with your own practice or teaching, and you're looking for a meaningful way to sparkle it back up
  • You are experiencing pain or injury and feeling frustrated or stuck in finding a sustainable way to practice or teach yoga
  • You want to learn how to give an amazing private session that can become a viable source of income for you as a teacher
  • You're looking for a niche or a skill set that will set you apart as a sought after yoga teacher with the ability to make a real and lasting impact for their students

This Training is NOT for You if:

  • You subscribe to magical thinking with the idea that the asana practice is somehow inherently healing in and of itself, no matter your approach
  • You're not willing to let go of the outdated teachings that limit the opportunity for hatha yoga to evolve in a way that's useful to modern day practitioners
  • You are more interested in accomplishing something in your yoga poses than you are in using the poses as a forum to explore, discern, and heal
  • You believe in one-size-fits-all yoga, and the idea that the teacher doesn't need to adapt the practice to meet the students' needs because student should adapt to meet the needs of the practice
  • You are in denial about your own injuries and fear your potential to be a catalyst for real and lasting positive change

Go for it!

The HIBS Diamond Advanced Training is an opportunity for you and your students, to find hope, support, and healing in these strange times. We are here for the purpose of self-realization, and the yoga practice is a journey to a profound awareness that you are already perfect, whole, and complete. You can make a difference by empowering someone in their healing through embodiment and wisdom. I am holding space for you... go for it!

Love, Heba

P.S. I know you feel that you have more to offer your students, and that there is more to learn for yourself. You are reading this now because part of you is ready to access the potential for this practice to be so much more than a nice stretch and party tricks for Instagram (not that there's anything wrong with either of those things ;), but if you’re serious about finding out what's possible for your practice and your teaching career, you’re going to need to be an active participant in your own healing.

Let me support you in widening your scope, so that you can show up fully for your students and yourself with confidence. You are destined for great things, so let's go...
